First Form is a private real estate development and investment platform founded by Tony Greenberg to bring his institutional experience and mature market best practices to bear on boutique projects in urbanizing neighborhoods throughout the US.

Seeking outsized returns through design-driven differentiation, First Form sponsors opportunistic multifamily and placemaking retail projects, often alongside local joint venture partners. First Form also invests in select projects sponsored by other innovative developers, offering capital and strategic advisory.

With a strategic approach to site selection, First Form invests deliberately in key neighborhoods within dynamic US markets.  Concentrating its efforts within post-industrial districts with distinct historic fabrics, First Form is currently managing a robust pipeline of active and passive investments, ranging from boutique to institutional, in Raleigh’s Warehouse District, Durham’s Central Park neighborhood,  Pittsburgh’s Strip District, Scott’s Addition in Richmond, and Corktown in Detroit.
